Scout Marley Katinta has been a scout in Kasanka for 10 years and for KBP for 5 years He is 35 years old. He is from the Central Province (local) and he has 5 children. His youngest Dylan is named after one of our baboons. Marley is essential to our project. He knows all of the baboons in our troop and can recognize them from far distances. Marley takes activity scans every 30 minutes to collect data of what every individual animal is doing at that moment. Marley also collects focal animal samples.
